Danske Bank Group publishes 2010 Corporate Responsibility Report

The Danske Bank Group, the largest financial services provider in Denmark and one of the leading players in the Nordic region with more than five million retail customers, has published its 2010 CR Report at

The report, which is the group's fifth, gives special attention to:

  the establishment of a group framework for responsible sourcing
  how the group aims to heighten knowledge about personal finances through its Financial Literacy Programme for children, parents, teachers and young people
  the approval of a new environmental target to follow up the group's achievement of carbon neutrality: 20 per cent from the 2009 level by 2014
  new online possibilities that increase stakeholder involvement and dialogue with various stakeholders in society
  efforts to promote more women in management in recruitment and promotion processes.

The report continues to use the G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, and is self declared at GRI level B, using the Financial Services Sector Supplement.
